VPAI exists to bring greater clarity to important business questions through independent research, careful analysis, and clear communication.
We investigate business, technology, market, and other complex research questions where the available information may be fragmented, conflicting, or difficult to evaluate in isolation.
Our purpose is not to produce predetermined answers or tell decision-makers what they should decide. It is to examine the evidence carefully, identify material risks and uncertainties, and provide research findings that support better-informed decisions.

VPAI conducts both public research and confidential client research.
Our public research program focuses on topics selected by the organization to contribute to the VPAI Research Library, research articles, reports, and future publications. These projects are undertaken to expand publicly available knowledge and understanding of important subjects.
Research commissioned by clients is entirely separate. Client engagements are conducted in confidence, and research findings, reports, and related information are never published, disclosed, or included in the VPAI Research Library or in future publications without the client's explicit written permission.

Vurtual Professionals and AI was founded by Catharina Cawood, who serves as the organization's Founder & Research Director.
Catharina established VPAI to create an independent research organization committed to investigating emerging technologies, business transformation, market intelligence, and the future economy through evidence-based research and analysis.
As Research Director, she provides strategic direction for the organization's research priorities, publications, methodology, and editorial standards.
